Universal Studios Hollywood Unveils Fast & Furious Roller Coaster

Thrill seekers will soon have a brand-new ride to experience at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The theme park is debuting Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a high-speed roller coaster set to open this summer. The attraction will reach speeds of up to 72 miles per hour along an aerial track stretching the length of 12 football fields.

Riders will be able to experience the coaster in vehicles inspired by cars from the Fast & Furious franchise, including a Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Toyota Supra, and Dominic Toretto’s iconic Dodge Charger.

Meanwhile, DC fans are also getting a preview of a new superhero series. A teaser trailer has been released for Lanterns, an upcoming show based on the Green Lantern.

The series stars Kyle Chandler as veteran hero Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as new recruit Jon Stewart. The pair team up to investigate a mysterious murder in Nebraska.

“Lanterns” is scheduled to begin streaming in August on HBO Max.
