An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, March 6, 2026!

Due to gusty Santa Ana winds, a Wind Advisory along with an Air Quality Alert have both been posted for areas of Southern California through Saturday. I'm also expecting winds to be an issue on Sunday, so this advisory will most likely be extended.

A Red Flag Warning has not been posted for SoCal, but because of gusty winds and very dry air, the fire danger will be a concern through the weekend.

As far as high temperatures go, the Coachella Valley will experience near-normal high temperatures in the upper-70s today and tomorrow, followed by middle-80s for your Sunday.
