Silver Alert Issued for Missing 68-Year-Old Man in Calimesa

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 68-year-old man from Calimesa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Silver Alert has been issued on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for Russell Woods.

Woods was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday near 3rd Street and El Serene Lane in Calimesa.

Authorities describe him as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 153 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans and may be traveling on foot.

Anyone with information about Woods’ whereabouts is urged to contact local authorities immediately.
