Palm Desert Offering Grants for Local Events Through Community Sponsorship Program

City officials have opened applications for the Palm Desert Community Sponsorship Program, which provides financial grants and other support to help local events succeed.

The program is designed to assist community organizations, nonprofits, and event organizers who want to host activities that benefit residents and visitors while enhancing the city’s cultural and community life.

Through the program, selected events may receive cash grants or other types of city assistance, depending on the needs of the project.

Funding will support events scheduled during the upcoming fiscal year, which runs from July 1 through June 30, 2027.

City leaders say the goal of the program is to encourage events that strengthen community engagement, promote tourism, and highlight Palm Desert as a vibrant destination for entertainment and cultural activities.
