Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage Hiring College Students as Tour Guide Interns

Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage is looking for college students interested in history, hospitality, and leadership to apply for its upcoming tour guide internship program.

The paid opportunity allows students to serve as guides at the historic Annenberg Estate while also earning internship credit and gaining valuable professional development experience.

According to Sunnylands officials, selected interns will participate in training during late July and August. After completing training, students will begin leading public tours of the estate from September through early June of next year.

In addition to guiding visitors through the property, interns may also assist with special events and support other Sunnylands departments during the summer months.

Program organizers say the experience is designed to help students build leadership and teamwork skills while learning about history, hospitality, and environmental sustainability.

Sunnylands says the program offers a unique chance for students to work at one of the Coachella Valley’s most well-known historic properties while interacting with visitors from around the world.

Students interested in applying can review eligibility requirements and submit their application online at the Sunnylands website.
