Goldenvoice Announces 'Head Trip,' a New Electronic Music Festival Coming to the Coachella Valley This Fall

Goldenvoice, the company behind the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, announced a new festival this week called Head Trip, set for October 10 and 11 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same grounds that host Coachella each spring.

The two-day event is focused entirely on electronic and dance music. Calvin Harris headlines Saturday, while Swedish House Mafia tops Sunday's lineup. Other major acts include Skrillex, Peggy Gou back-to-back with Four Tet, Dom Dolla back-to-back with Kettama, Fisher and Chris Lake performing under the name Under Construction, The Blessed Madonna, DJ Harvey, and Seth Troxler back-to-back with Ben Sterling. Floating Points will perform all weekend long on the Sunflower Sound System stage.

The festival adds to a growing list of events Goldenvoice is building around its existing Coachella infrastructure, making the Empire Polo Club an increasingly busy destination beyond just the spring festival season.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 13th at 11 a.m.
