Fashion Week El Paseo Returns to Palm Desert With Runway Shows and Celebrations

One of the desert’s most stylish and anticipated events is back. Fashion Week El Paseo returns March 13 through March 18 in Palm Desert, bringing top designers, emerging talent, and fashion lovers together for a week of runway shows, receptions, and special events along the famed shopping district of El Paseo.

NBC Palm Springs’ Mary Strong spoke with Susan Stein, longtime fashion editor of Palm Springs Life and creative producer of Fashion Week El Paseo, along with Stephanie Torres of Hotel Paseo, about what guests can expect this year. Stein says the event has grown into one of the Coachella Valley’s premier fashion celebrations, drawing designers and industry insiders while also showcasing the region’s vibrant style scene. The week features a mix of runway presentations, designer showcases, and special events that allow attendees to experience fashion up close.

For those attending for the first time, Stein says the experience goes beyond the catwalk. Fashion Week El Paseo also includes social gatherings, designer meet-and-greets, and community events that bring together fashion enthusiasts from across the region.

Just steps from the runway, Hotel Paseo plays a key role in the festivities. Torres says the hotel becomes a hub for visitors, designers, and guests attending the shows. The property is also hosting the opening night after party at Larkspur Grill, where guests can celebrate the start of the stylish week with food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere.
