Palm Desert Woman Killed in Rollover Crash in Anza

A woman from Palm Desert was killed in a rollover crash Wednesday morning in Anza, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Skylar Berry died at the scene of the crash.

Investigators say the collision happened around 7 a.m. near Cary Road when Berry’s truck became uncontrollable at an unknown speed before overturning onto the shoulder of the highway. No other vehicles were involved.

Officials say the roadway was partially shut down while crews cleared the wreckage and continued the investigation away from the highway.
