Pet of the Week: Donatella and Friends from Animal Samaritans
Valerie Katz from Animal Samaritans stopped by NBC Palm Springs with some adorable animals looking for their forever homes, and stole the show with Donatella, a two-year-old Maltipoo with a gentle, sweet temperament.
Donatella came to Animal Samaritans with puppies in tow, was a wonderful mother, and now that her babies have all been adopted, it's her turn to find a loving home. She's calm, walks well on a leash, and has so much love to give. Animal Samaritans recommends an adult household where she can get plenty of attention and feel secure.
Also looking for homes are Walter, a five-year-old Pomsky mix with a fluffy, lovable personality, and Jinx, a nearly one-year-old tuxedo kitten with striking green eyes and a playful spirit. And don't forget Doodle, Animal Samaritans' longest resident at a year and a half, who has a wonderful demeanor and is ready for her family.
To meet any of these animals, visit AnimalSamaritans.org/adopt. You can also find Animal Samaritans at PetSmart on Monterey in Palm Desert the first Saturday of every month, and at Petco the last Saturday of every month. For a full event schedule, visit AnimalSamaritans.org/events.
Upcoming Event: Animal Samaritans is hosting an Easter Bonnet Auction on Wednesday, March 25 from 6 to 9 PM at Eight4Nine Restaurant and Lounge in Palm Springs, with auctioneer Willie Rhine. The event benefits Guide Dogs of the Desert. RSVPs are required and can be made by calling Eight4Nine at (760) 325-8490.
