An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, March 13, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under mostly sunny skies this afternoon with very dry air and above-normal high temperatures in the upper-90s.

Aside from sheets of fair-weather high clouds, the Valley will see filtered sunshine on Saturday with strong on-shore breezes and highs in the middle-90s. More of the same on Sunday but under clearer skies.

As the center of that upper-level ridge of high pressure repositions itself right over Southern California, Valley midday temps will be running 20 to 25-degrees above normal beginning Tuesday and continuing into next weekend.

An Excessive Heat Warning will likely be posted for most of next week. Stay tuned!
