Dining Out for Life Returns to the Coachella Valley for Its 22nd Year

The 22nd annual Dining Out for Life is coming to the Coachella Valley on Thursday, April 23rd, and local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are being encouraged to sign up now ahead of the fundraiser.
The concept is straightforward: businesses sign up for the event, donating a percentage of the sales made from the day long fundraiser to DAP Health, which will use the funds to help support the many medical services they provide to valley residents. Diners simply show up and eat, and their dollars go further; no ticket is required.
DAP Health says the funds raised support whole-person HIV care, meaning not just medical treatment but also the wraparound services that help people actually access and stay in care.
Dining out for Life is an annual nationwide event, collecting over $100 million for community-based HIV/AIDS service organizations since it started in 1991. The Coachella Valley’s efforts are only a small portion of the event, but have ranked among the top three fundraising markets nationwide for three consecutive years.
Businesses interested in participating can sign up at DAP Health's website. Of course, valley residents wanting to help can simply enjoy a great meal the night of the event!
