Veteran Hollywood personal manager Dolores Robinson was honored this week with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, recognizing her decades-long career in the entertainment industry. The dedication ceremony took place at 1 p.m. along North Palm Canyon Drive, where Robinson was joined by family members, including her daughter, actress Holly Robinson-Peete.
Robinson received the recognition in the entertainment category for her influential work representing some of Hollywood’s most recognizable talents. Over the course of her career, she managed high-profile actors such as Martin Sheen, Pierce Brosnan, and Jada Pinkett Smith. She is widely recognized as the first Black female personal manager in film and television, helping open doors for others in the industry.
During the ceremony, those who worked with Robinson spoke about the impact she had on their careers. Jada Pinkett Smith credited Robinson for providing guidance and protection early in her professional journey, saying Robinson’s support played a key role in helping her establish a lasting career in Hollywood.
Since retiring to Palm Springs, Robinson has remained active in the local community, becoming an advocate and respected figure in the area. The Walk of Stars honor highlights not only her professional accomplishments but also her ongoing contributions to the community.
