An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, March 16, 2026!

Today, the Coachella Valley will be under mostly clear skies with very low relative humidity and high temperatures in the upper-90s.

Next -- as an upper-level ridge of high pressure centers itself over Southern California -- Valley temps will heat-up between 20 and 25-degrees above those mid-March seasonal normals.

Our hottest days in the Valley will be on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday when Valley highs will exceed 105° each afternoon. An Extreme Heat Watch has been posted.

As of this morning, it looks like a couple of waves will play a role in pulling-down those peak numbers back into the 90s next week. Stay tuned!
