Woman Identified in Fatal Cabazon Crash

Authorities have identified the woman killed in a crash Sunday night in Cabazon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Shaundeen Boniface, 46, died after a high-speed crash on Seminole Drive near Morongo Trail.

Investigators say Boniface lost control of her vehicle, struck a concrete divider, and then collided head-on with a Kia.

The driver of the Kia and a passenger were both injured in the crash and transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
