An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, March 18, 2026!

An Extreme Heat Warning has been posted through Saturday for the Coachella Valley area as temperatures soar to around 25+ degrees above those mid-March seasonal normals.

Today the Coachella Valley will be under clear skies with low relative humidity and midday highs around 106°. Those highs will be very close to 110° on Thursday and Friday.

Record high temperatures will be widespread over Southern California each day this week.

A weak trough of low pressure will pull-down those Valley highs -- slightly -- into the upper-90s on Monday.

Palm Springs normal high temperature this time of year is 81°.
