Action Star Chuck Norris Dies at 86
Renowned martial artist and action star Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86.
Norris rose to fame after his iconic fight scene with Bruce Lee in the 1972 film The Way of the Dragon. That breakout role launched a successful film career, including appearances in The Octagon, Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in Action, and The Delta Force.
He became a household name with his starring role in the hit TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, which ran from 1993 to 2001 and solidified his image as a symbol of rugged American masculinity.
Beyond his on-screen success, Norris was also a U.S. Air Force veteran and later became a pop culture icon through widely shared internet memes celebrating his toughness.
His family says Norris passed away in Hawaii, surrounded by loved ones. They have chosen to keep the circumstances of his death private.
