Indio Police Investigating Suspicious Incident at College of the Desert Child Development Center

Indio police are investigating a suspicious incident involving a man and a child at College of the Desert's Child Development Center in Indio.

The incident was reported shortly after 9 p.m. Monday at the center. Police have not described the nature of the incident or released details about the individuals involved.

Detectives took over the case and executed a search warrant at the location the following day.

"No further comment can be made at this time due to the ongoing investigation," police said.
