Yet, Another Day of Record High Temperatures on Saturday, March 21, 2026!

Once again -- for the fifth straight day -- high temperature records were blown-away earlier this afternoon.

Palm Springs set a new record of 105° Saturday afternoon. That's the fifth consecutive record for the city and ninth overall for the month... so far.

And while the cities of Indio and Thermal each posted new peak temps of 108° earlier today, those numbers also matched the highest temperatures on record for the entire month of March.

Here's a look a just a few other new high temperature records set Saturday afternoon over the Southwest.

Although that upper-level ridge of high pressure will weaken into next week, temperatures in the Coachella Valley will only back-off only slightly.
