Palm Springs Dog Park Closes for Maintenance, Temporary Sites Open

The David H. Ready Dog Park is now closed for temporary maintenance and hydroseeding, with the closure expected to last through May 15.

City officials say the work will focus on turf restoration and improvements designed to ensure the long-term durability and safety of the park’s grass areas for both dogs and their owners.

During the closure, residents can still take their pets to two temporary dog park locations set up across the city. Those include Ruth Hardy Park off Tamarisk Road and Sunrise Park off Pavilion Way.

Officials say the upgrades will help maintain the quality of the popular dog park while providing a safer and more enjoyable experience once it reopens.
