Leadership Coachella Valley Raises Funds to Expand Addiction Recovery Services

As the need for addiction treatment rises across the country, local leaders in the Coachella Valley are stepping up to make a difference.

This year’s class of Leadership Coachella Valley is focusing its efforts on supporting the expansion of ABC Recovery Center in Indio.

The recovery center is currently undergoing major upgrades, including a new admissions building, dining hall, and laundry facilities, partially funded through a state grant. However, leaders say additional support is still needed to complete housing spaces for those in recovery.

Organizers emphasize that stable housing plays a critical role in recovery, providing individuals with dignity and a safe place to rebuild their lives.

For more than 25 years, Leadership Coachella Valley has helped develop community leaders, and this year’s class is channeling that mission into a project aimed at expanding access to care and support.
