Palm Springs Book Festival Debuts This Weekend with Star-Studded Lineup
Palm Springs is adding a new event to its lineup of world-class festivals, this time for book lovers. The inaugural Palm Springs Book Festival is happening this weekend, bringing together acclaimed authors and readers from across the country. The three-day festival, running March 27 through March 29 at Festival Theaters in Palm Springs, will feature Pulitzer Prize winners, New York Times bestselling authors, and popular names from well-known book clubs. The event also supports a charitable cause, adding a community-focused element to the celebration of literature.
Organizer Jason Blitman, host of the podcast Gays Reading, says the goal was to create a space in the desert where readers can connect directly with authors and celebrate storytelling. The festival will include a mix of panel discussions, book signings, and interactive events designed for a wide range of audiences. In addition to ticketed programming, organizers say there will be free events and activities for children, making it accessible for families and casual readers alike.
With a strong lineup of authors and a variety of experiences, the Palm Springs Book Festival aims to establish itself as a new cultural staple in the Coachella Valley.
