An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Thursday, March 26, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies this afternoon with very dry air and above-normal high temperatures in the lower-100s. (The high temp record for Palm Springs on March 26 is 100° set in 1988).

More of the same for Friday, but with thickening high clouds later in the day.

We'll see lots of high clouds on Saturday, followed by plenty of mid-level clouds for your Sunday while we experience peak temps in the upper-90s both afternoons.

I'll be tracking two frontal boundaries as they move through the Southwest early next week.

The first wave will reduce Valley highs into the middle-80s on Tuesday, while the second wave pulls-down those numbers into the upper-70s on Wednesday, April 1st. No foolin'!
