Clyde, a 5-Year-Old Shelter Dog, Has a Whole Lot of Love To Give
Clyde, a five-year-old dog at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus, keeps getting passed over by potential adopters—not because of his personality, but because of how he looks.
Nicknamed "Pink Boy," Clyde has some hair loss and needs extra care, causing people to walk past his kennel. But those who spend time with him discover a dog who's great with everyone, amazing with other dogs, and easy on leash. He loves belly rubs, toys, and car rides, and recently attended an office birthday party where he stole the show.
Community contributor Jen Agnew featured Clyde in this week's FIDO Friday segment. FIDO is a community program that allows locals to take shelter dogs out for the day, giving them exposure to potential adopters.
If you'd like to adopt Clyde, contact the Coachella Valley Animal Campus at ID number A-1893438. To become a FIDO walker, email Pam Solek at pam.solek@gmail.com or find her on the Nextdoor app.
