Hundreds Expected at “No Kings” Protests Across Coachella Valley
Hundreds of protesters are expected to gather across the Coachella Valley this weekend for a series of “No Kings” marches and rallies.
Organizers say the demonstrations are aimed at opposing immigration policies under President Donald Trump, with multiple events scheduled throughout the desert.
In Palm Desert, two protests are planned—one at 9 a.m. near Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue, and another at 2 p.m. outside the Embassy Suites.
In Indio, demonstrators are expected to gather at 10 a.m. near Highway 111 and Monroe Avenue.
Organizers say the rallies are part of a broader movement happening in communities across the country, with participants voicing concerns about immigration enforcement and policy direction.
Local authorities are expected to monitor the events to ensure public safety as crowds gather at multiple locations.
NBC Palm Springs will have continued coverage throughout the day with updates on turnout, traffic impacts, and community response.
