Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI After Rollover Crash in Florida

Golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested Friday in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence following a rollover crash, according to authorities.
Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said Woods was driving a Land Rover when he clipped a pickup truck pulling a trailer on a narrow two-lane road. Investigators say Woods appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to avoid a collision at the last moment, striking the trailer and causing his vehicle to roll onto its side.
Woods was able to crawl out of the vehicle and was later identified by deputies at the scene.
Authorities say Woods showed signs of impairment, prompting a DUI investigation. He reportedly passed a breathalyzer test with no alcohol detected but refused to submit to a urinalysis test, leading to DUI charges along with property damage and refusal to comply with testing.
Officials confirmed Woods was not injured in the crash and was taken into custody, where he will be held for a minimum of eight hours per department policy.
The 15-time major champion has been working toward a comeback following multiple injuries, including a ruptured Achilles and several back surgeries. He recently returned to competition in The Golf League.
This marks another legal and personal setback for Woods, who has faced previous DUI-related issues and past car accidents.
