Tiger Woods Involved in Rollover Crash in Florida, Investigation Underway
Golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash Friday afternoon in Florida, according to local reports.
The accident happened just after 2 p.m. on Jupiter Island, with deputies confirming they are actively investigating the incident. Officials have not yet released details about what caused the crash.
At this time, it remains unclear whether Woods was injured. Authorities say more information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
The 15-time major champion has been working toward a comeback following a series of injuries, including a ruptured Achilles and multiple back surgeries. He recently returned to competition with an appearance in The Golf League (TGL) earlier this week.
Woods has not played in a traditional tournament since July 2024 and has been attempting to regain form ahead of a potential return to major events.
This is not the first serious crash involving Woods. In 2021, he was involved in a high-profile single-car accident in Southern California that left him with significant leg injuries.
Officials say an update from the sheriff’s office is expected later Friday.
