An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, March 30, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see plenty of sunshine until fair-weather high clouds move overhead later-in-the-day. We'll still experience above-normal high temperatures in the middle-90s.

As a Pacific low pressure center approaches the Coast on Tuesday, clouds will thicken, on-shore winds will strengthen and our peak temps will slip into the middle-80s.

Any precipitation with this disturbance will be light and widely scattered (if any at all) and will fall over mountains and from the Inland Empire to the Coast between late-Tuesday into very early Wednesday morning.

As this system exits the Southwest, skies will clear on Wednesday and our midday numbers will be at their coolest for the week as temps struggle to make their way into the lower-80s. Westerly winds will continue to be an issue late-in-the day.

Thursday's on-shore wind flow will switch to a very dry Northeasterly direction on Friday when middle-of-the-day Valley dew points will be around 10° along with single-digit relative humidity.
