Inside Netflix’s New Hit “Something Very Bad is Going to Happen”

Fear of commitment is at the heart of “Something Very Bad is Going to Happen.”  Camila Morrone is Rachel and Adam DiMarco is Nicky, a newly engaged couple as they travel to a remote, snow-covered estate for their supposed intimate wedding.  But as the nuptials approach, the dream celebration turns into a slow-burn nightmare.

Created by Haley Z. Boston and executive produced by the Duffer Brothers (“Stranger Things”), the show crawls slowly under your skin.  Co-directed by Weronica Tofilska (credited for the atmospheric tension of “Baby Reindeer”), this is a twisted, terrifying, and ultimately satisfying tale.

Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, and Jeff Wilbusch complete the cast of this diabolical marriage story. 

“Something Very Bad is Going to Happen” is now out on Netflix.
