The American Express will return in January 2027

The PGA Tour and The American Express announced on Monday the tournament will return to La Quinta on January 18–24, 2027.

The Pete Dye Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club will remain the three courses played during the event.

In 2026, The American Express had a $9.2 million event with a field of 156 pros and amateurs.

Scottie Scheffler won The American Express in his first start of the season, ranked the No. 1 player in the world.
