An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Tuesday, March 31, 2026!
As a disturbance moves through the Southwest, the Coachella Valley will be under cloudy skies today with near-normal high temperatures in the middle-80s.
While the Valley is not expected to pick-up any measurable precipitation, there will be hit-and-miss, widely scattered light showers over mountains and from the Inland Empire to the Coast between this afternoon and very early Wednesday morning.
This frontal boundary will also kick-up on-shore winds beginning later today. Although a Wind Advisory has been posted for the Coachella Valley area between tonight and Wednesday evening, it looks like winds will persist into Thursday evening.
Those on-shore winds switch to a Santa Ana wind flow beginning Friday which will lower middle-of-the-day relative humidity into the single-digits into the weekend.
While we'll experience peak temps in the 80s through Friday, Valley high temps will climb back into the 90s beginning this weekend.
