Free Easter Weekend Fitness Event in Cathedral City Offers Fun for the Whole Family

If you’re looking to stay active this Easter weekend, Cathedral City is inviting the community out for a free outdoor fitness event designed for all ages.

The event takes place Saturday morning at the city’s community amphitheater, hosted by the Cathedral City Parks Commission and Desert Recreation District. It will feature back-to-back fitness classes beginning at 9 a.m., including Pilates, dance cardio, and yoga led by local instructors from across the Coachella Valley.

At 10:30 a.m., NBC Palm Springs’ own Kai Beech will take the stage to lead a special workout session alongside fellow instructors.

There will also be plenty of fun for kids, including egg relays, obstacle courses, and a golden egg fitness hunt, making it a family-friendly way to celebrate the holiday weekend.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is free for the entire community.
