An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, April 3. 2026!

Because of gusty Santa Ana winds, a Wind Advisory has been posted for the very West end of the Coachella Valley into the San Gorgonio Pass, Inland Empire, parts of the High Desert and area mountains through this evening.

The Coachella Valley will be under mostly sunny skies with very low dew points with near-normal high temperatures in the middle-80s.

Although winds will subside by Saturday, humidity levels will remain quite low while Valley midday temps warm slightly into the upper-80s/lower-90s.

We'll continue to see highs in the lower-90s through Tuesday.

Confidence is still low, but there is a chance an upper-level Pacific low pressure center will move toward Southern California this Thursday triggering scattered showers and dropping temperatures.
