Another Delay in Silvercrest CEO Murder Case
There’s been another delay in a high-profile case involving the Silvercrest CEO hit-and-run case.
William Rodriguez, who is charged with murder in connection to a deadly hit-and-run, appeared in court through his attorney for a scheduled hearing. However, the hearing was continued after the defense said critical evidence has yet to be turned over.
According to Rodriguez’s attorney, three key pieces of discovery are still outstanding: cell phones collected during a search warrant, a USB drive seized as evidence, and the victim’s medical records.
The defense argues those materials are essential to properly evaluate the case and prepare for next steps.
This marks the second delay tied to missing evidence, as a previous hearing was also postponed for the same reason.
The court has now ordered prosecutors to provide all remaining discovery by April 10.
A new hearing is set for April 14, when both sides are expected to return for a felony settlement conference.
