Indio Issues Airspace Restrictions for Coachella Festival

A temporary flight restriction will be in place from April 9 through April 13 in Indio over the Empire Polo Club, where the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals are held.

Officials say drones and other unmanned aircraft are strictly prohibited during that time to ensure the safety of attendees, performers, and staff.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted traffic routes, and comply with all safety regulations as large crowds return to the desert.
