La Quinta Offering Free Spay and Neuter Services for Pets on April 16

La Quinta is teaming up with Riverside County Animal Services to host a free spay and neuter clinic on April 16 at the La Quinta Wellness Center. Vaccines and a microchip are included at no extra cost.

The event is open to La Quinta residents only, and proof of residency is required at the door. Dogs and cats are both welcome, though pets must be under 40 pounds, and flat-faced breeds like pugs and French bulldogs are not eligible. Households are limited to two appointments, cats must arrive in carriers, and dogs must be on a leash.
