Agua Caliente Tribal Council Election Results Announced
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has announced the results of its latest Tribal Council election.
Jeff Grubbe has been elected to a new two-year term as chairman.
Meanwhile, Anthony Purnel will continue serving as vice chairman, and Savana Saubel remains in her role as secretary-treasurer.
In addition, two Tribal Council seats were filled for one-year terms as part of the election process.
Officials say the results were finalized this week following the tribe’s March vote, maintaining continuity in leadership while filling key council positions.
The Agua Caliente Band plays a significant role in the Coachella Valley, with leadership decisions impacting cultural preservation, economic development and community programs across the region.
