Fly Over LQ: Free Kite Festival Coming to SilverRock Park This Saturday

La Quinta's SilverRock Park is hosting a free kite festival this Saturday, April 11, from 8 to 10 a.m., and the whole family is invited.

The event, called Fly Over LQ, gives attendees the chance to build their own kite at an on-site craft table or bring one from home. Instructors will be on hand to help with both construction and flying, so no experience is needed.
