Indio Hosting Open House on Potential Expansion Plans

Community members in the City of Indio are being invited to help shape the city’s future.

City officials are hosting an open house on Thursday, April 9, to discuss a potential annexation opportunity, an effort that could expand city boundaries and guide future growth.

The event will give residents a chance to share input on key topics, including open space planning, development strategies, job creation, and mixed-use projects.

The open house is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. at the Indio Teen Center, located on Avenue 46.

Officials encourage residents to attend, ask questions, and provide feedback as the city considers how best to plan for long-term growth and community needs.
