Motorcyclist Injured in Late Morning Crash in Palm Desert

A crash involving a motorcycle and a car is under investigation in Palm Desert.

First responders were called to the scene around 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Fred Waring Drive.

Authorities say when deputies arrived, they found a collision involving a motorcyclist and a passenger vehicle.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Officials say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
