Taste of Jalisco Festival Turns 10 This May in Cathedral City

The Taste of Jalisco Festival is turning 10, and this year's lineup might be the most ambitious yet. The event runs May 1 through 3 at the Cathedral City Town Square Festival Lawn, drawing thousands of residents each year with food vendors, live music, and programming tied to the city's sister-city relationship with Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico.

Friday opens with a Selena tribute act, Dreaming of You. Saturday features two back-to-back tribute performances, a Santana band called Savor and The Shakira Experience. Sunday closes out the weekend with Lucha Libre Mexicana, presented by Masked Republic.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can also find food vendors, an artisan market, carnival rides, folklórico performances, and tequila tastings for guests 21 and older.
