An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, April 10, 2026!

We will be tracking a couple of low pressure centers as they move through the Southwest this weekend. Both will accelerate on-shore winds during the afternoon and evening hours today, Saturday and Sunday.

Because of windblown dust, an Air Quality Alert has been posted for the Coachella Valley through Saturday.

The Coachella Valley will not see any rain with Saturday morning's frontal boundary, but a few very light showers are possible on the West end of the Valley on Sunday with disturbance number-two.

Aside from gusty winds and widely scattered light showers, Valley high temperatures will back-off from around 90° this afternoon, to middle-80s Saturday, 70s for your Sunday and Monday.
