Coachella Kicks Off as Ticket Issues Leave Some Fans Scrambling

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is officially underway, drawing thousands of music fans to the Empire Polo Club for the first weekend of performances. The festival runs through Sunday before returning the following weekend.

This year’s lineup features major headliners including Sabrina Carpenter on opening night, Justin Bieber on Saturday, and Karol G on Sunday.

While excitement is high, some festivalgoers experienced a rocky start after encountering ticketing issues in the days leading up to the event. Several reported canceled purchases or account problems, particularly involving StubHub. In some cases, buyers were told their wristbands could not be delivered in time due to delays in shipment. Others claimed their accounts were hacked, leading to unauthorized ticket sales.

Despite the setbacks, many fans were able to resolve their issues by visiting will call or reaching out through social media. Some attendees reported that festival staff acknowledged similar problems affecting multiple customers but were able to assist in getting them access.

For those impacted, the experience was stressful—but ultimately, many still made it inside the festival grounds in time to enjoy the music and atmosphere.
