YouTube Premium Prices Are Going Up

YouTube is raising the price of its ad-free Premium subscription, joining a wave of streaming services that have hiked rates this year.
The individual plan goes up from $13.99 to $15.99 a month, while the family plan jumps four dollars, from $22.99 to $26.99. New subscribers will see the higher prices immediately. Current subscribers won't feel the change until their June billing statement.
YouTube Music is also getting more expensive, up one dollar a month for individuals and two dollars for families.
YouTube reported more than 125 million subscribers worldwide across its Premium and Music plans last year. Netflix, Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime Video have all raised their subscription prices this year as well.
