Indian Wells reports record turnout and increased viewership for BNP Paribas Open

The City of Indian Wells is highlighting a successful year for the BNP Paribas Open, releasing new data that shows strong attendance and growing global interest.

According to city officials, more than 527,000 fans attended this year’s tournament, making it one of the most well-attended events in its history. The tournament also brought in over 336 players representing 55 countries, further reinforcing its reputation as a premier international tennis event.

This year’s competition featured more than $20 million in prize money, continuing to elevate the tournament’s status on the العالمي tennis stage. Officials also reported a 39 percent increase in viewership through coverage from the Tennis Channel.

Beyond the matches, the event also delivered a boost to local spending. Merchandise, food, and beverage sales all saw noticeable increases, reflecting the strong turnout and fan engagement throughout the tournament.

The BNP Paribas Open, held annually at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, remains a major driver of tourism and economic activity across the Coachella Valley.
