An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Sunday, April 12, 2026!

While a low pressure center moves through the Southwest, there will be scattered showers today over mountains and from the San Gorgonio Pass and Inland Empire to the Coast. The most precipitation we will see here in the Coachella Valley will be a couple of sprinkles on its very West end... if anything at all.

A few very light hit-and-miss showers are possible on Monday, but all West of the Coachella Valley.

On-shore winds will once again be an issue during the afternoon and evening hours today and tomorrow.

As far as temperatures are concerned, the Valley will experience cooler-than normal midday temperatures in the middle-70s today, lower-70s on Monday. We'll be back into the 80s starting Tuesday.
