Silvercrest CEO Back in Court Today for Hit-and-Run Settlement Conference

Silvercrest CEO Back in Court Today for Hit-and-Run Settlement Conference

Silvercrest CEO William Rodriguez is due in court this morning for a felony settlement conference tied to a deadly hit-and-run that killed 60-year-old Christina Barrington in 2024.

The conference has been delayed multiple times while the defense waited on evidence from the prosecution. A court order required prosecutors to hand over all remaining discovery materials no later than last Friday, April 10.

Rodriguez, a Palm Springs resident, has been facing felony charges since his arrest last year. His legal team has previously said they are prepared to take the case to trial if needed, and Rodriguez continues to assert his innocence.

Today's hearing will determine whether the case moves closer to resolution or continues toward a preliminary hearing timeline.
