45-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Sky Valley

SKY VALLEY (CNS) - A 45-year-old man driving a small all-terrain
utility vehicle was killed in a crash with a mid-size car in the unincorporated
Sky Valley area on Wednesday.
  

The crash was reported shortly before 4:40 p.m. on 22nd
Avenue and Marshall Road, near Desert Hot Springs, according to the California
Highway Patrol.
  

A blue Toyota Camry driven by a 35-year-old man was traveling
westbound on 22nd Avenue when it struck a green John Deere Gator that was
westbound on the right shoulder of 22nd Avenue, the CHP reported.
  

The all-terrain utility vehicle driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
  

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
