Dining Out for Life Returns to the Coachella Valley on April 23rd

The 22nd annual Dining Out for Life is one week away, and valley residents have an easy way to help: just go out to eat.

On Thursday, April 23rd, restaurants, bars, bakeries, and coffee shops across the Coachella Valley will donate between 33% and 100% of their day's sales to DAP Health, which uses the funds to support HIV prevention, treatment, and a range of other health services for nearly 80,000 patients across Riverside and San Diego counties. No ticket is required; diners simply show up.

Dining Out for Life is a nationwide event that has raised more than $100 million for HIV service organizations since launching in 1991, with all local funds staying in the communities where they are raised. The Coachella Valley has ranked among the top three fundraising markets in North America for three consecutive years. Last year, 65 local establishments helped raise nearly $240,000 from more than 20,000 diners.

Participating spots this year include 1501 Uptown Gastropub and Aspen Mills Bakery & Café in Palm Springs, One Eleven Bar in Cathedral City, Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill in Palm Desert, and Willie's Modern Fare in Rancho Mirage, among others. The full list of participating locations is available at daphealth.org/dofl.

The event runs all day, from breakfast through late night, so supporters are encouraged to visit more than once and bring friends along.
