Singer and TikTok star D4VD arrested in connection to 14-year-old’s death

Singer and TikTok personality D4VD, whose legal name is David Burke, has been arrested in connection to the death of a 14-year-old girl in Los Angeles.

Authorities say Burke was taken into custody Thursday in Hollywood on a probable cause warrant without incident. He is being held without bail.

The case dates back to September 2025, when the remains of Celeste Riva Hernandez were discovered inside an abandoned Tesla registered to Burke.

Investigators say Hernandez had last been seen alive in 2024. Burke was identified as a suspect in the case in November 2025, though law enforcement officials say the arrest took time as they worked to gather sufficient evidence.

Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the teen’s death but say the investigation remains ongoing.

The arrest marks a significant development in a case that has drawn attention due to Burke’s public profile as a rising music and social media figure.
