An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, April 20, 2026!

There will be a few changes as two disturbances are forecast to move through the Southwest this week.

The Coachella Valley will be under lots of sunshine this afternoon with breezy winds, low relative humidity and slightly above-normal high temperatures in the lower-90s.

As a frontal boundary approaches Southern California tomorrow, on-shore winds will ramp-up during the afternoon and evening hours. Any rain with this system will be light, widely scattered, and remain West of the Coachella Valley.

As this system exits to our East, Valley high temps will back-off into the lower-to-middle 80s.

Another trough is expected to move through the Southland this weekend providing gusty West winds while dropping those Valley midday temps from the upper-80s on Friday to the upper-70s on Sunday. Stay tuned!
